We Scholarship Application Essay are for doctoral students in computer science, the research examined in areas of high interest for the Department of Homeland Security, science and technology to pursue. The topics include, but are not limited to: the cyber-security, data fusion, data mining, computer on-demand/cloud, situation analysis and visualization. Our project is working with partners such as the Purdue University / DHS (DHS) Science and Technology Center of Excellence partner Visual Analytics for Command, Control, and interoperability environments (vaccine) and Miami-Dade County Emergency Management, a researcher with the real world challenges areas such as science and technology mission and DHS, problems and significant social issues.
Very competitive grants will be provided. The Scholarship Application Essay winners will also be seen to DHS investment opportunities in our network of partners and particularly at the site approved scientific or technical advantage.
